In January of 2024 I was hired as a Junior Packaging Designer in the Garment District of my home town, New York City. I work for High Point Design, a sock and slipper production company whose products are sold in major retailers across the country like Walmart, Sam's Club, and Target. Below, you can see some of the various projects I've worked on since starting there.

I've been fortunate to have worked on a lot of giftable holiday packaging, as seen above. These graphics will be for hangtags for Christmas-themed slippers. While everything goes through some revisions, I do truly love the simplicity of these minimalist tags.
One of my major responsibilities includes the creation of unique dielines for giftable packaging. This requires careful measurement and attention to geometrical details. Using a variety of materials such as paper, cardboard, and acetate, I have helped develop dozens of adorable packaging concepts.

Once the design is finalized and final dimensions are checked, I set up the file for optimal manufacturer usage. Included within the document are assembly instructions, detailed measurements, and a CMYK color printing guide with standard Pantone hues.
While all of the projects I work on at HPD are collaborative efforts, this popcorn bucket concept is one I worked on from start-to-finish. I created a custom dieline from scratch, formatted the assets into a print-ready file, and then created a mockup for sales team approval.

I created the above patterns for general use on assorted Valentine's Day projects. They'll make the perfect background for a giftable packaging concept, and the elements within can be used as fabric patterns for the socks themselves. That's two birds with one stone!
An unused concept for a piggy bank-type project, made with preexisting company assets.
